TIER 3 TECHNICAL SUPPORT DEVELOPERS

KLJ, a recognized and award-winning industry leader known for its powerful, simple-to-use and affordable claims management applications, is looking for TIER 3 TECHNICAL SUPPORT DEVELOPERS to work with our North American Technical Services, ensuring that our application meets our wide-ranging client needs.
Successful candidates will:
- Provide estimates and prepare the necessary SQL scripts and .NET code to deliver various service requests from clients
- Work with KLJ’s DBA to create and execute appropriate database scripts to address client database issues
- Respond to technical queries from tier 2 support regarding more complex problems. This typically requires review of the .NET code and SQL statements to determine the nature and likely causes of the problem, recommend corrective action and guide the support staff, the client or other developers through the necessary steps to resolve the issues.
- Troubleshoot application and/or technical environment issues
- Provide liaison with other functions when necessary to obtain answers to urgent or complex customer problems or enquiries
- When required, work directly with clients on complex installations or issues
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 – 5 years’ proven experience in analysis, diagnosis and problem resolution in a 3-tier environment.
- Minimum 3 years experience developing web-based applications, 2 years with Microsoft .NET
- Minimum 3 years experience developing database applications, 2 years with SQL Server
- A Bachelor degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of ASP/HTML/JavaScript/SQL/XML
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows server platforms
- Self-starter, who takes initiative, displays outstanding attention to detail and possesses excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Willing to work on night shift
