Why I Am Now Using Firefox Instead of Opera (Functionality vs. Speed)
Submitted by Dino Manrique on Sun, 2007-03-04 23:08. browser | firefox | operaI had been a fan of the Opera browser for quite a time, mainly because of its speed, but I eventually switched to Firefox as my browser of choice. Here are my reasons for doing so:
1. Some of the sites are not fully functional in Opera. An example is the Contacts box in Gmail which does not appear in Opera. I think this is a scripting problem.

The colors in Firefox won’t appear while in Internet Explorer, the fonts were too big. I finally found the answer here. It turns out that I have to uncheck the Use High Contrast setting in Windows XP:
Windows users) Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Accessibility -> Display -> uncheck “Use High Contrast”, restart the application
