AN INTERNATIONAL agency funded by the German government has poured in some 313,000 euros into a project that seeks to train and produce more Filipino software developers with expertise in open source development.

Dubbed Positive, which stands for Philippine Open Source Initiative, the German Technical Cooperation, partnered with mobile applications developer Wireless Services Asia (WSA) to implement the project.
