Earn Online with BlogRolled
I recently received an e-mail from ReviewMe.com recommending a new advertising network I can join as a publisher called BlogRolled. BlogRolled is similar to the advertising networks
and Backlinks which allow advertisers to buy link ads on your blog or site.
I immediately signed up and it was easy enough. You just have to enter your personal details including your e-mail address on their sign-up form and press the submit the button. An activation link will then be sent to your e-mail. The e-mail was a bit late in arriving -- around four or five hours or so -- so I'm guessing that BlogRolled may be sending the activation link manually.
Submission Glitch
After activating my account, and once logged in, however, I experienced a minor technical glitch when I tried to submit a site -- I was repeatedly taken to a blank page. But I realized that their system had already processed my submission when I went to the Manage page of my account. I could then see the status -- Pending (for approval) -- including the cost of the ad (how much the advertiser would have to pay for the link, I guess). This glitch occurred every time I submitted a site so most probably it will happen to you too -- just go to the Manage page to check.
Page Rank Rates
At any rate, when I had submitted my four sites, I could see that the rates for my sites were different. I couldn't find on their site how their system automatically came up with the prices, but the most logical guess is that they are basing the rates on the sites' page ranks: To wit:
- WriteLit.com - Page Rank 4 - $15
- PinoyFilm.com - Page Rank 3 - $10
- PinoyTechie.com - Page Rank 2 - $7
- FilipinoWriter.com Page Rank 0 - $5
After around seven or eight hours, I got four e-mail messages for each of my site telling me that each of my sites was accepted. Once logged back in at BlogRolled, I saw that the status of my sites were now set to Active. I tried to find a code to paste in my sites ala-
and Backlinks, but found none. That's when I found this bit of info from their How it Works page:
Once an advertiser makes a purchase from your listing, you will be notified of the sale. Once you've received the notification, you will be asked to place the ad on your site into your blogroll.
So all I have to do now is wait. Hopefully, the sale notifications would come soon.
